Amanda & Julio's San Marcos Wedding | Austin Wedding Photographer

BEST. WEDDING. EVER.

I connected with Amanda via Thumbtack and right away I could tell that she was detail oriented, filled with questions and, most importantly, excited to be getting married.

Amanda spent the first half of the day getting hair and makeup up done in a an Airbnb bursting with natural light while the guys hung out in a hotel suite a few miles away. I was able to bounce back and forth between the guys and girls throughout the day to make sure we captured all of the getting ready details.

Since Amanda booked complete wedding coverage we had ample amount of time to comfortably capture everything we needed which included details, rings, the writing of vows and an emotional gift exchange. After preparing for their big day, Amanda and Julio met at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church to say I DO in front of their closest friends and family.

After a full catholic ceremony, we take a quick drive over to The Enchanted Ranch for a wedding reception for the record books. I was able to capture a few wedding traditions that I had never captured before such as the unveiling and the grand march! Afterwards the couple shared their first dance and capped it off with a confetti cannon that completely covered the dance floor. After a few hours dance floor action the night ended with a beautiful sparkler exit and a party bus that transported weddings guests to downtown San Marcos for more drinks and fun.

At the end of the day Amanda & Julio’s wedding was one of my all time favorites. Fun, emotional and very well thought out. So excited these two chose me and I’m so happy they enjoyed the memories we were able to create. Also, I can’t believe I delivered their gallery with 1,363 photos. (The most ever for me) Congrats to one of the most amazing couples ever.
