Chuk & Amber's Aristide Mansfield Wedding

Wedding of the year! I was invited by my good friend Jaren Collins of JCI Creatives to second shoot the wedding celebration of Chuk and Amber at the Aristide Mansfield in Dallas, TX. Where do I begin? I could start with the amazing choice of venue by the bride and groom. A large open floor plan with amazing reception hall and moody foyer was the setting for inside activities while the outdoor ceremony area was highlighted with a large, prominent staircase. Surrounding the building was lush greenery and endless opportunities for portraits of the bridal party.

What did it for me though? Krispy Kreme donuts as a gift for every wedding guest. Lol. At the end of the day, though, what I enjoyed the most was witnessing these two express their love for on another. The day was perfect. So happy I had another opportunity to work with JCI Creatives and capture another great wedding for another amazing couple! To the bride and groom.

Gerald & Quincy's La Cantera Wedding

A few months back my good friend Jaren Collins graciously asked me to second shoot with him. I immediately accepted and I'm glad I did. I was able to meet his team members who consisted of the lovely Christina, Photo Booth extraordinaire, and Philip the video wizard. Needless to say I consider myself the luckiest man in the world that I was given the chance to be a part of such an incredibly special day.

Gerald and Quincy chose to tie the knot on a perfect fall day at the beautiful La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas. WOW. This place was gorgeous. The resort was home to amazing food, excellent service and views of the rolling hills of San Antonio.

Throughout the day I was able to spend time with the bride and groom, family members and friends and I had an amazing time learning more and more about the story behind the couple. The evening began with a beautiful ceremony which took place out on the balcony with plenty of sunshine and a light breeze. Afterwards guests enjoyed a cocktail hour while the bridal party took photos and everything was capped off with a reception packed with delicious food, moving speeches and dancing like you've never seen.

I am beyond humbled that I was trusted to capture such special moments. This is why I do what I do. THIS is why I'm a wedding photographer. I love that I'm able to experience such an intimate connection between two souls. Congratulations to the Boyds and their new life together!
